My Third Blogger's Award!

Last week I was nominated by a sweet friend, Deborah over at The Drama Free Momma! I've personally known Deborah for quite sometime now... even before she gave birth to one precious toddler who keeps her on her toes and who is every much so the inspiration behind her blog! She is a high school English teacher and I am always so envious of her style of writing! She is amazing and I hope one day she'll write a book!

So what is the Liebster Blog Award?! According to Drama Free Momma, it is an honor bestowed from  one blogger to another to recognize their writing and give them a shout-out. It must go to an "up-and-coming" blog, with fewer than 200 followers. I can't think Deborah enough for nominating me as I think she is pretty stellar!

1. I am not a morning person, what so ever.
2. I have an extremely hard time being on time for most anything!
3. I suffer from severe buyers remorse when I purchase anything!
4. I am a big procrastinator.
5. I care and worry about the little things waaaay too much!
6. I cry very easily.
7. Sometimes I think I sound less educated than I really am when I speak or write.
8. I've never been happy with my body.
9. I tend to over think every thing!
10. July 31st was three years since we became homeowners {I'm going to have to do a post about this!}
11. I hate having to wear shoes at work and prefer to walk around my office barefoot!

 - None as I am not a parent to real human children yet!

2. When/Where was your last family vacation?
 - Family vacation? Last August, Emerald Isle, with Todd's Mom's side of the family. Where we will be headed to next weekend!

 - Not really!

4. Wat's your favortie show on Disney??
 - Oh my, I haven't watched the Disney channel in years. I was always a fan of the Mickey Mouse Club though!

5. Who do you turn to for parenting advice?
- No one yet!

6. What is the one thing you can cook and nail it every time?
- My meat loaf

7. What is your worst habit?
 - My potty mouth!

8. If you could switch places with anyone for the day, would you? Whom?
 - Erin Andrews. I'd love to be sports broadcaster and experience that.

9. Do you get the newspaper? Do you read it?
 - No we don't get it, but I do hope online and visit two in our area.

10. Does your child/children have a nickname?
 - Our childpup does! Reefie or Bubba!

My 2nd Blogger's Award!!

Why hello there y'all!!! I hope you all had a blessed 4th of July!! The hubby was off work at 2 and we were able to go partake in some Independence Day festivities at his Aunt and Uncles house! They live about 5 minutes away from us on the water and have all kinds of fun water toys! We even took Baby Reef, who swam to his little hearts content and is worn slam out!

Back about a week and a half ago, Nikki from MakeupHER nominated me for another Blog Award! I can't thank her enough for nominating me! I also can't believe that in such a short time I've already managed to have earned two awards! You ladies seriously ROCK MY SOCKS!!! If it wasn't for y'all reading, I obviously would have no awards, so thank you from the bottom of my heart!

My First Blogger's Award!

I know that I told you yesterday to stop by because I would be recapping more of our Annimoon trip... well I told a little white lie! I think breaking it up may be more fun and it will give me plenty of time to write more about our get-a-way! Sorry to have disappointed anyone {wink wink}.

One of the main reasons I decided to break up the recaps was because last Thursday I was awarded with my very first Blogger's Award, The Laine Blogger Award! Mrs. Meghan over at More from Meg nominated me and I feel incredibly honored! She is such a fun loving sweet gal and we've already discussed how we know we'd be the best of friends if we lived close to one another! My thoughts? We could still be besties regardless of the distance!! I can't thank her enough for thinking so highly of me and I am excited to answer the questions attached to the award!!! Before I get started though, I just want to thank all of my readers for reading my daily life rambles and for your sweet, supportive, and inspirational comments! Y'all make up a huge reason of why I keep coming back everyday to write!! I wish I could give each of you BIG hugs and smooches!!

Without further adieu, here are the questions and answers...


1. What is your current beauty obsession?
I think I am going to have to go with Nude lipstick and glosses! I have never been a huge lip color gal and as much as I love the new trend of a red lip I just don't think I pull it off well! My go to and absolute fave is a Nude lip! I use Palladio Lip Color in Nude and I am a huge fan of Bare Minerals lip gloss in Sugar Cookie!

2. What is one beauty item you wished you owned?
Really good hair extensions! I have long hair yes but I think adding extensions and making it longer would be a blast! I've never bought any because I change my hair color too often and feel like it would be a huge waste of money if I bought them in one color and a month later changed my own to something else!


3. What kind of posts are your favorite to read and write?
My favorite posts to read are honest posts. Posts where you know the writer put their heart and soul into it, almost like they were writing in their own personal journal! I also like to read posts where you learn more about the writer and their personality! It gives the reader something to connect to which I love. I don't have a favorite type of post that I like to write. I like sharing my highs and lows with my readers and maybe bragging about my sweet puppy, Baby Reef!


4. What inspired you to become a blogger? 
Honestly, my friend AND old roomie Kelly over at Mrs. In Training. She started blogging at least 3 years ago and I did in fact hop on the blogging train back then because of her, but never invested time into doing it frequently. Several months ago I started reading more blogs and just thought so many of them I came across were so fun and I wanted to be a part of that fun! So I started back up and haven't stopped and I've met some incredible ladies along the way!

5. What color nail polish are you wearing right now?
I am still rocking my French Shellac Manicure that I got when we were in Charleston two weeks ago! Looks a little heinous up close but I'm still impressed with how long it has lasted and how good it does still look, from a distance at least!
